Did I miss an announcement that IJ is supposed to be dead today?

I spent a few hours writing in my notebook last night and now I have 6 8 pages of notes on the Kincaid Gang to type up for Maimed. So, I'm wondering if IJ is going to be down for a while and I should just go work on it in gDocs instead.

Cash is finally finished though, or he will be once I get the chance to add his personality and history to his application post. :)

I just got off the phone with my grandma and she's over the moon.

I need to find out more information (such as times her episode is on and whatnot) but my cousin is going to be on a new TV competition show called Can You Duet on CMT. It's a project from the creators of American Idol and focuses on duets.

Her name is Jennifer Robinson and she's a spunky little brunette. Well...she was brunette when I last saw her and that was about 5 years ago in high school. I headed off to college. She headed off to Nashville.

She's about 5 minutes in. The judges split up her duo but keep both of them. When she comes out at the end, my Aunt Laurie, Uncle Greg, and cousin Stephanie are the ones congratulating her.

When I get back from my exam later I'll make a clip that's JUST her segment.

Editx3: I make a quick clip of her audition. The video was pretty crappy to begin with, so...sorry for that. But the audio is still good. :)

It's basically a huge mash-up of never seen clips. The fact that Brad Paisley's "Alcohol" is in the trailer makes me giggle myself stupid. BUT otherwise most of these clips are some pretty HEAVY SHIT. Gore, violence, all that. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I figure it's been nearly a year, so it's about time for a change in layout. I finished it during halftime while watching Tom Petty 0 was really awesome but was probably the most subdued halftime show I've ever seen. Even with the guitar fertilizing the heart-egg there at the beginning. Of course, that didn't stop us from singing along as loud and proud as we could.

Would someone get other there and protect Brady, please? He's spending half the game on the ground. Poor boy.

So, I've been spazzing for the better part of two weeks due to Johnny Depp and Christian Bale being cast in Michael Mann's Public Enemies.

Well, this morning Variety broke the news that Channing Tatum (who was originally just in-talks to join) has been added to the cast of Public Enemies by director Michael Mann. Other new cast additions? Giovanni Ribisi, Stephen Dorff, Jason Clarke, and Marion Cotillard.

My reaction: FUCK. YES.

My head is going to explode if I see this movie, y'all. Because not only is it Depp, Bale, and Tatum in the SAME FREAKING MOVIE - it's a gangster movie. About John freaking Dilinger. And Pretty Boy Floyd. And so on. And HOLY FREAKING GOD. WHY IS THIS NOT IN THEATERS, ALREADY?

ETA: AND! Ain't It Cool! is reporting that Channing has been cast as Duke in Stephen Sommer's G.I. Joe and a formal announcement will come later today. Woo!

This almost makes me feel not-sad about Pinkville getting canned. Not entirely, but *almost*.
